Have your say - early childhood education

The Early Childhood Education Regulatory Review is looking at the regulatory systems for education, health, safety, child protection, food safety, buildings, and workplaces as they apply to the ECE sector. This review is not looking at funding of the ECE sector.

This review will help make sure that the rules are good for everyone and make economic sense, saving time and improving outcomes for children.

By giving us your feedback you can help us identify the areas we need to consider as part of this work.

Please choose the appropriate category below that best applies to you.  You may be someone who fits into more than one of these categories - for instance a parent of a child in ECE who is also an ECE teacher.  If this is you, you are welcome to make submissions through however many categories apply to you.

Parents and caregivers

This questionnaire is for parents and caregivers of children who are currently attending ECE.

People who work in ECE

This questionnaire is for anyone who works in an ECE - be it a teacher or kaiako at a centre, a centre manager, a home-based educator, a kaiawhina, a visiting teacher, a Playcentre parent and many other roles.

Service providers

This questionnaire is for organisations that provide ECE services. This includes business owners, Chief Executives, Executive Leadership Teams and Board members.

Other interested people

This questionnaire is for advocacy groups, peak bodies, representative organisations, experts or interested members of the general public.
